The son of a paint and wallpaper store owner, M.L. Canedy opened Canedy Neon Company in 1937, in Sikeston, Missouri. Upon his passing in 1969, Mr. Ted Martin became General Manager and, together with Mr. Gene Crump, purchased the business the following year. In 2000, Canedy Sign & Graphics was purchased by D & S Sign Company. In 2010, Canedy moved its headquarters to an 80,000 square foot facility in Cape Girardeau. Today, we are the oldest and largest sign manufacturer in this region of the Midwest.
